Digital Department return to 19BOX RECORDING with an awesome original track. Originally from Russia, Arseniy Somotov started Digital Department project in 2009 and has been producing progressive house and breaks ever since. As a result of his interest in these genres, he also runs a label called WELCOME MUSIC that holds a music policy similar to what the label name suggests. Many of you will recognize Digital Department from his previous work as a remixer of Definition Of Affranchise on 19BOX RECORDINGS. His current release 'Disconnection' takes influence from classic progressive house sounds of yore like Breeder. And he has also included a Chillout Mix to add to the package.
Filling out the remix package, Japanese producer Hideout (the other half of Hot Station) provides his trademarked sound with old school house piano stabs and a funky synth and bassline that holds it all together. This remix has 'floor burner' all over it!
This isn't that beatport labelled progressive house. This is the real deal that you will be armed and ready to drop into your sets! Stay tuned for 19BOX RECORDING turning 100! Well, 100 releases that is!

Oscar Gs is from Sueca, Spain. He is also known under the moniker of Ordinary People and is the label manager of WE LOVE HOUSE RECORDINGS. Albert Ballart hails from Barcelona, Spain and has teamed up with Oscar Gs many times. This time their studio wizardry has delivered several tracks that aim more towards the commercial sphere of dance music, with powerful melodies and vocals.
Bulgarian based producer Allan Zax steps up to remix 'Give Me', stripping back some of the synths and letting the drums and vocals to the forefront. He has released tracks with many different aliases in a wide ranging number of different electronic music genres like progressive trance, drum n' bass, deep house, chillout and others.
On 'Close', our favourite 19BOX producer Genuine Fakes from Tokyo, Japan has provided us with two action packed remixes that are full of Yin and Yang. His 'Hypnotic State' remix takes on darker tones and goes into trip hop territory, whilst his 'Genuine Fakes' remix goes more into piano-laden breakbeat territory.
'Give Me Closer' has all of the makings of an underground hit in the making!

DJ 19 NORBERT MESZES GENUINE FAKES
PRESS
19BOX RECORDINGS is proud to introduce another masterpiece from label head honcho, DJ 19. This is his first release on 19BOX RECORDINGS since 2013's 'You Got Me Wrong'. That said, he's been keeping busy with his release schedule through other guises. Ambrozia , Hot Station, Valid Evidence, Plagiarism, Definition Of Affranchise, and a collaboration in between Bryan Cox and Balthazar & JackRock have all the magic touch of DJ 19. The original mix of 'Supernova' is first track of many more to come from DJ 19. Taking its influences from early Detroit techno, the track features a huge baseline that's driven by deep and techy grooves that are bound to keep you swaying.
The remixes come courtesy of Norbert Meszes and Genuine Fakes. Norbert Meszes hails from Hungary and is already known for his remix of The YellowHeads on our sister label, PARK LIMITED MUZIK. This is his first venture on 19BOX RECORDINGS. He kept the flavour of the original, but dropped the tempo and added some atomopherics for good measure. Genuine Fakes from Tokyo, Japan does only what he can do. He somehow manages to take the original mix and turn it into an acid jazz-laden love in that would fit right in with a smoky 1960s-era bar filled with the world’s movers and shakers drinking dry martinis.
While DJ 19 may not be a supernova, his mind is forever 19 and his music will be forever radiating into the universe!

TONY KOSA / BIT
TONY KOSA GENUINE FAKES
PRESS
Veteran Italian DJ Tony Kosa has crafted a New York house influenced track straight from the early 1990s. After making his debut as a remixer of Ambrozia & Ganga's 'On My Own', Tony has returned to 19BOX RECORDINGS for his original production, 'Bit'. The track features a riff that feels like it's floating in the air, all while it's underpinned by a fantastic chord stab. Remix comes courtesy of Genuine Fakes.
By now anyone who's a 19BOX head is familiar with the regular output of Genuine Fakes. His unique remix is named the Offshore Mix because he imagined being by the seaside when he produced it.
With summer just around the corner, we hope you'll pack your boombox and throw these on when you head to the beach!
